I looked at a couple of rumor sites and didn't see anything. I wonder if it would be feasible to do do a partial upgrade of the X10, to the X20 viewfinder? You know, like upgrading an M8 to an M8u. This would be an X10 upgrade to an X10u. The goal is to get as many benefits of the X20 as Fuji could install in an X10.

I doubt it. I suspect firmware changes would be needed ... At a minimum.

Just to slap the digital display overlay into the finder?
Aren't firmware changes programmable? I think people upgrade their firmware on many cameras, right over the internet.

The new display needs a connection to the embedded controller, i.e. you need to swap more or less the whole electronics. Selling the X10 and buying a X20 is easier and cheaper.
