I played a little bit with an X100s in a shop recently. Since we learnt it would be marketed in all black in February it sounds more and more appealing to me.

Besides that darn imprecision of the OVF composing frames (why, why, why ?) I was upset with the viewinder automatically switching to EVF after each shot I took, and displaying that shot for a while, until I brought the viewfinder back to a blank OVF by depressing te shutter release a little bit.

Question : can I customize the camera, via the menu, so that the viewfinder stays in OVF all the time, unless I decide otherwise, and does NOT display the photo I just took ?

I just can't imagine which pain in the butt it can be if this is not possible. If I am using the OVF this is just because I do NOT want to bring the EVF to my eye.

The seller didn't have the least clue about that and I didn't find the answer to my question within the online reviews (I might have searched badly, though).

Thanks for the inputs !
