XA2-Round 3 Antiques and the Beach

So, the testing of the XA2 involved a roll of Arista Premium 400 film and some snaps of an antique Ford pickup truck as well as beach shots. Here are some of the images:

really nice tonal range ...

Yes, Paul...that appears to be one of the strengths of the XA2, even with 400 film. That is the first area to be exploited as I continue to try things out and see what it will do.

The second lesson learned is that anything overly bright (ie-reflections off ocean, pool, etc.) flares badly with the 400 film, not so sure about the 200 film but it handled baseball fine with only one flaring instance.

I have another roll of Fujicolor 200 loaded right now for when the grandkids come back in a couple of weeks to stay. Will shoot that pretty fast.

Then, ta-da, I will shoot some Rollei Retro 80S.🙂
