Are the Hasselblad Xpan lenses freely usable on the Fuji TX-1/2 body series? Do they mix-and-match with full compatibility and provide same lens-to-film plane distance for identical accurate focussing without any modification?

I have both 45mm lenses and both bodies ( Xpan 1 and TX-2) and they are compatible. From my understanding Fuji manufactured the lenses and bodies and for sale outside of Japan (in the European and USA markets), they were re-badged as Hassleblad.

Simon, thanks for your quick reoly. Gives a glimmer of hope to search for used items separately and shoot with interchangeable components. My friend has a Xpan with a dead shutter (rendering his 45mm and 90mm unused) and I bought a FujiTX-1 body without the lenses. Looks like we need each other for an obvious reason!

Yup. shouldn't be a problem mixing Hassy and Fuji labeled lenses on either make bodies. The 90mm Fuji on my Hassy is superb.
