A point of interest for those who enjoy shooting digital IR works.
Out of curiosity I installed a Hoya R-72 over the 35mm lens on an Xpro-1 today.
At wide open I was getting times of 1/50 of a sec at iso 1250.
AF was working and appears accurate at least on the 3" LCD screen.
Plenty of IR effect going on. The image looks as you would expect from the M8 with the IR-72 filter in use.
I Will post a sample if I get something worthy later.
Nice to know since.. Today, I dropped of the package with my "no longer mine" M8 in it at the post headed to it's new owner.
I don't use IR often but, sometimes it is a nice break from the ordinary

Yes, please post images... maybe I'm ready to try this again after a 20 year hiatus.

Not to steal any thunder from the OP, but I had spotted this a few weeks back and it really piqued my interest in the R-72/X-Pro1 combo: http://www.flickr.com/photos/nodonuts/sets/72157629412677817/with/6914370209/
Not particularly spectacular infrared work, but it does really give an idea of the capabilities of this combo.
