The Yashica 300 Auto Focus is a big bodied, light weight camera, with a full suite of features and controls, and two dedicated Power Zoom lenses covering the 28-70mm and 70-210mm focal lengths. Two dedicated flash units (CS-240 and CS-250) are available, plus it has a built-in flash. The main features are four exposure modes (PASM), four drive modes (SCT and Focus Trap), Auto and Manual focus, Power and Manual zoom, +/- 2 stops of exposure compensation. This was the last SLR under the Yashica name made by Kyocera, and was introduced in 1993.
I messed up when mounting the big zoom, as I was in a hurry to grab some shots of an approaching train, and found out that the camera will not operate the shutter when it is missing information from the lens, but will gladly advance the film like nothing is wrong. Everything worked fine after I took the lens off and put it back on.
Some Sample shots from the roll of Kodak Gold 100 (exp 03/2006) I used for the test. More photos and commentary at the link.

Just as an aside, one of the photos on the roll (last one to be precise) got selected to be displayed in the Explore feature on Flickr. I was shooting with the 70-210 zoom fully racked out, hand held. I realize now in my older years that I can't hold a long zoom all that steady anymore, and it kind of shows in this shot (I tend to ignore the fact I have a really nice mono-pod in the truck at all times). But people went nuts over it. 25,947 views yesterday (of a total of 31,023, or 83% ), and another 6,343 today (of a total of 11,783, or 54%). And I picked up another twenty "Followers".
I don't know what drives these numbers, as it's not my best effort. I didn't do any thing other than crop it square to eliminate the excess sky and foreground. Is it really that interesting?
