Yashica Electro 35 GSN Aperture

I have a GS and a Canonet G-III and have noticed that the aperture blades on the Canon are in front of the shutter while the blades on the Yashica are behind the shutter. Not being used to these cameras, I thought that there was something wrong with the GS at first. This may be not the issue in your case, but it would be nice to think I was not the only one to do this.
