Just wondering if anyone has or uses this model. Seems well made, with good lenses. Anyone?

I never used that camera. I might have bought it since I already had a Yashica TL Super when the AX came out. But I had already opted for the Fujica ST 901 and liked it better. I think all the Yashica lenses except the Yashikors were quite good. If it is working, I don't think you will be too disappointed.
The manual at Butkus.org will help you. I read on another site that the camera doesn't work with the older lenses, but I don't know why that would be. I seem to remember it operated in the stop-down-closed-aperture mode unless you pushed a lever to open up the aperture for focusing.
