My first MF (from a flea-market. I know, what can one expect), a beautiful-looking 124G. Lens and body look fine (no visible defects), though the screen has some dust. I've put 3 rolls through it, but haven't developed yet. From Google, I understand that the "sticky winder" is common with this model, but the problem is intermittent. I've already had to open the back and wasted an exposed roll as the crank stuck at exposure #11. I'm looking for advice as to the best place to send for repair and CLA.

Thanks for any input.

I had one many years ago that didn't have that problem until I dropped in on a rock. Then it wouldn't go all the way through the circle. Since it ratcheted, it worked until stolen about a month later.

If I were you, I would invest in a changing bag until I decided what I wanted to do.

Excellent idea. I already have the changing bag for 35mm developing, but didnt have the bag with me at the time.
