I need instructions for removing the top plate of the Yashica MG-1.

How can you tell if the frame counter is accurate?

Does anyone know how the remove spray paint frorm a a lens without damaging the glass.
 
Thanks for the help. This week was homecoming at my high school. I was shooting us working on our float and got into the path of someone using spray paint. It's only a bit. I only noticed it when the sun was shining into the lens.
