Hi guys
It's no secret that I've been into P&S cameras these past few weeks because I really missed my T4. It was so nicely slim and fast.
So I've been buying a camera here and there. Got some great results from the Big Mini zoom Konica.. discovered the XA2 needs TriX400 for my taste..
AND.. I got my hands on a MINT condition Yashica T5 super.. I paid 100€ for it but since I was used to the T4slim I found this T5 a tad large and .. quite SLOW!
Now.. the question is.. should I drive myself insane on selling the T5 and buying a T4 slim.. OR should I just keep the T5 ?

It would appear that the T4 is what you really want...

T4 and T5 are essentially the same camera, your only difference might be a date back on the T5. Unless there's something wrong with it, it shouldn't be any slower, and It's only 3-4 mm deeper. I'd get over it and go shoot.

T4 super USA. T5 Europe. Same camera.

Keep it! I just bought a T4 Super D off the classifieds here last month and love it. I've also been shooting with a Leica Mini 3, Ricoh GR1v, and Contax TVS III but the T4 is my favorite.
My only issue with the T4 Super is that the 'Super Scope' viewfinder is very small and not practical to use when shooting street. If I had to do it all over again, I'd probably just save a few dollars and buy the non-Super Scope version.

I'm indeed keeping mine and will just deal with the shutter lag. Mine has no date back though

Sell it if you can get what people seem to pay for them. I still can not believe plastic all-auto P&S can cost so much no matter how good lens it has - still 35mm FOV and no manual controls. I'd sell and put money into real camera. No offense - just what I think on this. Sure, no point giving away for mere few dollars, of course if you paid high bid for it.
