Ah! That's embarrassing. Well we were driving for quite a while so at least we STARTED in Yorkshire!!

Cheers for the comment

Thanks for the comment. It's about 50/50 between those who prefer the B+W and colour shots.

Thanks yes I used a slight grad filter there.

I can't remember the name of the cafe/shop we went to after the walk.. It began with a C after the name of a lovely English Bull Terrier who was their logo and presumably mascot.

Aha that's it! Great cake there. I bought some mugs with French Bulldogs on them. Wish I'd known they had a 'dog wall' as I'd have brought a picture of my Nellie along to add!

Cheers

We have to retake bits of Lincolnshire, Oldham, Forest of Bowland, Sedbergh and Dent, Teesdale, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland first ;)

You see you`ve just encouraged them ... they`ve been quite these last 500 years.

Its a lovely area to shoot ...only a 45 minute drive from where I live but I don`t seem to go there as often as I should.

Familiarity and all that.

Any More ?

Michael

I'll be back again soon, I'm going to climb the peak in the distance with my friends at some point. Loved it there.

Bassenthwaite is the only lake

... the rest are meres or waters

beautiful pics, can I ask what equipment you are using?

Hi, yes it's an Epson R-D1 and Voigtlander 28mm f1.9 lens. I believe I was shooting at f8 on these shots.

I haven't used any other combo that gives such 3D depth to landscapes... seems to work well. I'm no 'landscape photographer' per se.

Cheers
