Hi Folks,
I just "won" one of these on the Bay, allegedly cla'd a few years ago and in good user condition. It's in the mail to me now. Has a compur shutter and 70mm lens, uncoated. Anyone use one of these and have any tips or just plain comments to make? Looks like back in the day it was a compact family model for snapshots. Is the glass any good? Thanks.

Zeiss glass is almost always good, uncoated, coated, 3-element or 4-element.

Thanks for the links, I found the camera and a manual for it. I can't wait to see if it's really in good shape or not, and how the pictures look.

Found this at a garage sale! Scanned some pix but the files are too large. Maybe later when this old dog learns a new trick. Surprising results. On mine, the viewfinder shows more than appears on neg. Allow for that.

Thanks, Puderse, for the picture. Mine is supposed to be the Tessar example, so I have high hopes for it. One thing I can't figure out, though, is that all the websites talk about the 520 only coming in 75mm, whereas the picture of mine simply says 7 cm, or 70mm. What's up with that?
