hello all:
i'm wondering if anyone has used the zeiss biogon 25mm on the M8. two matters interest me. first, the IQ. second, how the M8 "registered" the 25mm frame lines.
thanks!

The Zeiss 25 brings up the 28mm frameline because it was designed before the M8 and R4a came to market and the widest internal frameline for M bodies was 28mm.
You can:
1. Have the mount modified by a machinist
2. Buy a Zeiss 35mm mount (which brings up the 24/35 framelines on the M8) and have it fitted by a repairman
3. Send the lens back to Zeiss who can fit a 35 mount for you
4. Buy a new pre-modified Zeiss ZM 25 from Tony Rose at Popflash.
Then you need to figure out how to code it. Either use something like the M-Coder kit, or take option 2 above and send the 35 mount to John Milich who can modify the mount with the recesses for coding.
