Zeiss Distagon 15mm ZM

It is a rare and very high-performing lens.

Corners are nonetheless a bit soft at f2.8 with the 15zm and M9. I don't know if the issue is better with the M240, but the 15ZM/A7r combination is certainly no better.

Incredible build quality (better than the 21mm Summilux and Noctilux IMO). great color rendition, but big, bulky and pretty much requires the EVF (a 15mm VF distorts so much that you won't be able to frame landscape shots accurately). Also, any attempt to use the lens with filter kits is doomed - the built-in hood won't even allow a CPL, and at 15mm you'd see dark corner if your first screw-in filter was too thick.

I once really wanted the lens for ILC use, but after testing it in Hong Kong and using a 18mm Distagon for three years, I came to the conclusion that a fixed 15mm is too limited for either street or landscape work, and that I really don't need f2.8 at the FOV. Now I use a 12mm Heliar and crop to 15mm on the A7... :D
