The Zeiss Planar T* 2/45 for Contax G seems to be the ideal portrait lens for Micro Four Thirds. It's fast, and it translates to a 90mm equivalent field-of-view on the 4/3 sensor. Also, it's got Zeiss' famous T* coating and has the well-proven Planar design. And if that weren't enough - it's also small!

So how does it perform on an E-P1, E-P2, E-PL1, G1, G2, GH1 or GF1? And how does it look on these cameras?

If you've got this lens and are using it on an MFT camera, then please use this thread to share with us your pictures taken with and of this lens!

Nobody else here using that lens on his MFT camera? I'd love to see some portraits! :)

Don't have portraits but do use the 45/2 with my GF1.

The 45/2 and 90/2.8 are great lens and are some of the best legacy lenses that one can have for use with the 4/3rds family of cameras.

Dan, I really like the first one - classic Zeiss rendering, with beautiful bokeh!

Will people please post only terrible pictures until I complete my set of G lenses for my G2. You are driving up the prices!

That's the problem with talented photographers. They could drive up the price for almost anything because so many people will be led to think they could take equally good pictures with the same gear. Of course we know better, so we won't get that lens, will we? ;)
