Hi Issy !!! I'm from Italy and I'll go in Boston in July to meet my friend and i'd like to buy my new camera there. Two weeks ago i sold my CONTAX G2 kit and now i'm looking for a Zeiss Ikon ZM.
USA is the best place for find good price and opportunity, here in ITALY for me is a little hard !!
Thanks for your advise.
Andrea.

I have not seen a ZI yet, but will keep my eyes peeled.
July's a nice time to visit Boston -- hopefully you'll be able to take your new Ikon to the Cape!

Yes... sorry, for some reason I read your post and thought you were from the Boston area.
Newtonville Camera is in the small town of Newton, MA, very close to the Mass Pike (Interstate Route 90), less then 30 minutes from the center of Bsoton. They carry (or did carry) Voigtlander, as well. My wife got me my 15mm from there.

W.B. Hunt is in Melrose, Cambridge, and Boston MA, and a couple of other locations

...but I can't bring anything up for the Ikon in their search engine.

Andrea we are busy in Boston today. The 110th running of the Boston Marathon is in progress! One of my kids is running in it so I am very excited.
Will check in later with the address of Newtonville plus the manager's name and telephone number.

Try E.P. Levine on the South Boston Waterfront about 1.5 miles from downtown. Website: www.cameras.com. I bought the ZM 25mm, 35mm and 50mm lenses there. They probably have bodies now. It's also the best place for used equipment in Boston. Great staff.

Newtonville Camera is at 249 Walnut Street, Newton, MA 02460. Mike Bard is the manager of camera sales and will cut you a deal. Nice guy, not pushy at all. Telephone numbers are 1-800-734-9992 or 617-965-1240, and fax is 617-965-0404.
The store that SDK mentions above, E.P. Levine, is also very good.
