$8000 including the 35mm f1.0. Looks like a digital M5 to me. As we all know the M5 is the best film kamera ever made, ergo the Zenit M will be the best digital kamera ever made.

Is the price krazy? Well, the Zenit M is a great kamera as the M240 is a great kamera. And this will be really unique and much more kollektible than almost any digital Leica, and the only way (for now...) to get that lens.
I'm waiting for the black one to be released before I order.

Russian design kan be excellent. Russian konstruktion may be problematik.

This is made in Germany by Leika. Not sure if that is a positive.

(the lens is designed and built in Russia and perhaps is the most interesting part)

Not sure what that means but I have some Zenit lenses I really like.

The M240 is bulletproof so the Zenit M will benefit from that cased in a bad a$$ Leica M5-esque shell.

When I have the disposable income.... that black brute will be mine!

Yeah, that's pretty much a mistake. Easy to overlook though.

Huss, if you're waiting on the black model, you better be ready to jump the moment they come out because I believe that 500 unit figure is combined chrome/black.

How much would Leica charge for this if it was labelled Leica instead of Zenit?
