I see Zeiss is just introducing CPU-enabled Nikon fit lenses to its range, which means I can now use them fully-featured on both my FE and d70 at last.
They're still expensive - are these Nikon-fit Zeiss lenses that much better than equivalent lenses from Nikon?
I'm very tempted by the 50mm Planar f1.4....

They have been for quite a few year now haven't they? They're typical Zeiss, great contrast and sharpness. Mfogiel owns a few, you can have a look at his Flickr.

Even though most 50mm lenses are Planar ripoffs, the Zeiss Planar actually has character that sets it apart from the wannabes.
I actually didn't believe this to be the case, but the Zeiss Planar is an awesome lens, whether it be for a rangefinder or an SLR.
