I managed to bring an old Zorki 4 to life with a bit of maintenance, but in the process I managed to snap the self-timer lever off (thinking it was a RH thread, when it was a LH).
The camera is back together again now, and I am wondering what is the best way of getting a new lever in place. The remains of the old shaft will have to be drilled out I guess? Anyone done that without taking the camera apart?
All tips welcome.

I was going to say get some left-handed bits in reverse to drill it out and it should grab the shaft and back it out, but since it is a LH screw then regular RH drill bits should do the same thing in forward drive. Make sure to drill it with the camera body in a normal upright position so the chips won't fall into the camera.

That sounds like a plan - thanks.
