Hi there,
Im currently fixing a Zorki 6 (and also a Zenit 3m, which is near identical), I managed to re-glue the curtains as they had begun to separate, when i put the camera back together and tensioned the rolers (4 turns on the 1st curtain and 3 on the second) the shutter had some issues. It seems to work ok on B, and speeds up to about 125 seem ok (but I haven't checked, the problem comes with the speeds above this, the shutter partly opens on 250, and moves slightly with no slit at 500, the cam on the bottom of the speed selector (the part that is lifted to set speeds) seems to hang on the catch behind it, sticking the shutter open, what have I done wrong?
Thanks.
Rob

I think I may know the answer to this, I had a similar issue on a Zorki 5 where 1/250 did that (maybe 1/500 too, can't remember). Try bending the little spring that presses against the 2nd curtain release so it puts less pressure on it (that's the crescent-shaped bit!). A VERY tiny dab of lightweight grease on the contact areas may help too...

thanks a lot mate
Works like a charm now
Will make a shutter tester and give the rf and curtain tensions a few tweaks to get things working properly tomorrow.
Thanks.
