Hi,
As promised, here's the scans from the first roll I shot with my Zorki, a roll of Portra 400VC. I was still struggling with framing and exposure back then, so 2 of the 5 attached pictures are slightly underexposed, but the result is still okay.
Photo #1 was taken in a train and, like #5 (underexposed) nicely shows the colours of the 400VC through Industar-22. More muted than usual, it gives a more low-key image than usual. I should try out Kodak 400UC (has this been renamed recently ?). Photo #2 is slightly underexposed, but the chimneys shows the loss of contrast that occurs when the sun is near or in the frame. I've had frames where the chimneys were solarized
Photo #3 shows the amount of detail the combo can produce (bigger scan on demand) and #4 is there because, well, I love those cars
I've also updated my gallery with more than I can attach here. There's a few new ones that I shot with my SLR (Japan and Wroclaw galleries). The rangefinder gallery contains the attached pictures plus more scans of that Zorki 400VC roll, and I've added a new gallery: Auschwitz. As usual, when viewing photos in my gallery, click "comments" for explanation.
Peter.

back to basics
Hey Peter, detail seems fine, colours at longer distance maybe somewhat muted, or was it hazy weather? Or is the difference in saturation between the first and other shots because of under/overexposure?
More to come I guess...

The last one has that Flemish/Old Master light. Nice.

Rob,
The underexposed ones are #2 and #5. So that explains the colours of #2. It wasn't as foggy as to turn that red car so dull
But I think it fits the industrial imagery
Peter.
