Hey guys. Today where I am its raining and quite windy. I was thinking of bringing the Zorki, since its the first day that it is over 0C, so my shutter won't freeze up. Will wind/rain affect the zorki in any way? I'll be outside for around 4 hours and the camera will be exposed to the conditions all the time. Should I bring the zorki, or just stick with the Nikon?

get the zorki cla'd by a competent camera tech and you should be good to go in any kind of weather.
don't waste your shooting time with camera gear in iffy condition.

I don't really understand how a CLA would help against bad weather that does not include low temperature.

yes it can, by the tech using oil or grease of a certain viscosity that covers a great range of temp.
even just the cleaning of the old hardened grease off the internal gears helps a great deal.

My Zorki I performed really well this Xmas in Romania at -20ºC so you shouldn´t worry as long as it´s correctly lubricated, old oil could probably make some trouble.
