I love my Zuikos and I'm thinking to buy a 24mm 2.0.

I have the 24mm 2.8 and sometimes I miss 2.0 (low light portraits) so I use to take my Voigtlander 21mm 1.8.

But Zuikos render/draw in a really different way and if I want to go with my OM cameras I miss this 2.0 wide angle lens.

Can anybody tell how is the 24mm 2.0? Distorsion, sharpness, vigneting... I would use it only for B/W film, no color.

Thank you very much for your answers,
Xabier.

I'm not thinking on the 21mm 2.0 because it is TOO expensive.

The 24mm f2.8 Zuiko lens is one of my favourite lenses, but one time I did get to borrow and use the f2 version and found it every bit as good as its slower brother....its heavier and much more expensive obviously but unlike many fast wide angle lenses of 30 years ago it was very usable and sharp at f2.

My take was it is a very nice lens but unless you are shooting available light most of the time and make good use of its large aperture and very wide view, if not then it was not worth buying when I owned the f2.8 version.

Your photographic needs and circumstances might be different than mine.

Thank you so much for your words!

What did you think about distortion? It was like in the 2.8 version? And did it vignette like the 2.8?
