E-mailed the lovely Ursula at Solms re my 55mm Chrome IR cut filter, and she said due to backlog I would have to wait sometime. 2 days later it arrived, smashing!!

Registered Feb 2 and requested a 46mm and 55mm.
At this writing (August 1) I've received nothing whatsoever.
Wrote to Leica in mid-June. Response: Sorry, we don't have any filters. Probably two more weeks.

I cannot imagine the spanking that Canon or Nikon would get if they offered such spotty service to provide an essential accessory, even if they lived in denial of the need before the camera shipped. I'm happy for those who seem to get their filters quickly but from my seat the free filters program has been pathetic.
