Not really scary but .... Can't imagine going to a bar and shoot photos with such a "nice red" MP ...

I can't see myself ever buying someone else's "a la Carte", it defeats the whole purpose!
I am wondering about the reactions of the people going about their business around town that I'd be snapping... Would the red/silver camera help establish interaction, or run them off?

Ugly...didn't like the colored Hasselblads when they were around, either. :-(

No, and it probably doesn't have the M2 finder option either!

I have one exactly like it with the .85 finder. It reallty looks great with a black or yellow shirt. My wife talked me into it as my old age fashion statement but I really like the look and the feel of the leather.
You would be surprised that only one person two years ago noticed it. I think it's so over the top that people see it as an amateur camera if they see it at all.
I have another .85x that's black chrome and black ostrich with my name on the back and traditional MP controlls and a hammertone .72x. All have matching leicavits on them.

I hate it, Mr Kirkland, I hate it. Now drop the price to under $1500 and I will suffer. Then I will send it into CameraLeather and get a nice black vulcanite cover. Mission accomplished!

Looks like a party camera! I'd shoot it.

Ugly. But I would use it for the right price.

Btw, I thought Leica's would look good on red, but this one doesn't do it for me. It's too bright.

Nope. Too...erm.....RED.
If rangefinders are to be discreet this kinda defeats the object. The racing green hide is about my limit I think. That said this is still so much better than the Ralph Gibson one which looked like cat sick with extra food dye added.
