Facebook - beware the copyright black hole!

But I'm really not impressed with flickr. especially the $25.00 a year fee they charge just so you can have pro next to your name.
The $25 lets me put photos in sets - a rather handy feature. I'd probably pay an extra $5 to keep the features but lose the "pro" marking!

Agreed. Plus you are given extra photos w/ the 25$/year... whereas if you opt for the free acc't, there's a cap.

IANAL. I have two brothers who both are and a good friend who also is, so some of the lingo has rubbed off over the years.

Such a contract appears to me to be a "contract of adhesion", or one which one party has no negotiating power.

I do know that in some jurisdictions, these are looked upon differently than standard contracts entered upon by mutual consent.

i am thinking about deleting all my facebook/flikr images, and using a paid site like the one roland uses, snugmug. i think it is about 40 US/ yr. and he gets to upload quite a bit, and there is no silly advertising on each page as with flickr.

Where is there silly advertising on Flickr? I don't see any when I browse.
