And WTF is he doing on vacation in a foreign country where he does not even seem to be speaking the language (go figure, he is President of a country).

He is just looking for disruption.

So if I wanted to go on vacation to say France I should reconsider since I don't speak French??

When agitated, one tends to swear in one's own language.

I realise public figures should expect it, but I still think that following people relentlessly, even on their holidays, is journalism at its least edifying.

Another harmless Frenchman yelling and gesticulating rapidly, so what's new? :p

Mr Sarkozy made a giant ass out of himself. As a high profile public figure he should expect to have his privacy invaded, especially in a public place (it was on a lake, for crying out loud). But (ultra) right wing arses have a tendency to yell and complain a lot over supposed violations of their rights, while at the same time not blinking an eye when they violate other people's rights. Mr Sarkozy is such a figure, and he happens to be the French President. Go figure.

50/50 Nikon and Canon I'd guess, Magus. Photojournalism has sunk to the level where any third rate picture of a public face is published, we should worry?

Agree with all that :)

Maybe it was a "Grey Poupon" moment that spun out of control.....

Odd he got upset having his photo taken. His wife is a former fashion model, perhaps she could give him some tips on how to pose :)
