When I bought my Minolta CLE six months ago, the small CLE flash came with it -- and no instructions. I basically figured out how to use it, but one thing has me stumped. How do I get it to fill flash -- say, 2 stops under ambient light? Would be grateful for help from any CLE owners out there. (By the way, I love the camera. Got it with the 40mm and 90mm Rokkors, and added a 25mm CV Skopar -- all perform superbly!)

Hello Carl!
Here we go again. Because of the reorg of the database all the post are gone. If I have interpreted your first post the right way, you have no manual for your flash. So if you want I can copy mine and send it to you via email.
Btw I made a test roll last saturday morning and made the experiencies that the dedicated CLE flash will work fine indoor. Outside you have to force the flash to work by selecting high f-stops so the shutterspeed without flash would be slower than 1/60sec. But the range of the little flash is very very short.
Would like to hear from you again.
Cheers
george
