What's your workflow like?

I figured it'd be interesting to see how everyone else goes about their process, so, have at it!

Mine (B/W):
-Order film online
-Load before leaving, bring one extra roll
-Develop negs at home (changing bag + Tank)
-Dry in shower
-Cut and put in sleeves
-Scan at 1200DPI (Good enough for working on computer, and I can scan higher if I want a print.)
-Organize raw (except for rotations) shots in folder by date
-Include all data pertinent to the roll (date, gear, film, processing) in txt file in folder
-Wait till next day (most of the time) to go through and look for keepers
-Process in Photoshop CS3 (Levels and cleaning of scan)
-Publish to DA and/or RFF

B/W
-Buy film from one of 2 places close to my dwelling
-Load and shoot
-Develop at home, at night
-Dry in shower
-Cut/sleeve
-Scan at highest res on minolta scan dual IV
-Import into adobe lightroom and organise by date
-For PP in lightroom, usually just contrast, highlight recovery and slight sharpening, vibrancy/saturation
- ...
-Profit? :d

Colour is the same as BW but I dont develop the negs.

Lightrooms taken over as my main organizer/PP tool so it makes it fairly easy and strealined.

Colour film:
Pick a few rolls from the fridge.
Load one and put the others in the bag.
Shoot until I or the film is exhausted.
Film to lab (200m away of my home) expecting to get my masterworks.
... 1 hour later ...
Go to lab and get contacts + scanned (1840x1232). The same crappy pictures as usual. Some keepers that possibly will be enlarged in the near future.

As for B&W, change the lab for myself developing in the night (best way of avoiding light leaks in my dark(bath)room).

I'm trying to pick up on my workflow again.
Buy film and other materials online.
Shoot as a planned photo outing (usually MF) or:
Take camera on an days outing, (opportunist with 35mm).
Develop at home (all B&W)
Scan negs as an alternative to contact printing.
Print in darkroom (could be my favourite part).
Get work rubbished by those who know better (but who don't shoot anymore😉 ).

I do as much as I can online - makes it much more simple I think:

- order film online in bigger qualtities and store in fridge until use
- send film to lab for processing and scanning
- downloading scanned film from my account with the lab
- storing on my PC + backup
- I try to remove the total mistakes
- I try to rename the pics to "date + event"
- Print on a small Epson photoprinter a few of the best to share with family
- Extra backup once a year to be stored in another location

-Pick up film where ever I can find it as its getting hard to find here
-Take pictures
-Take more pictures
-Once I have 3-4 C41 or slide rolls sitting around I send them to the processors for developing and 6 inch scans
-Take them home and stick them into the computer and then take a good long look
-Have the girlfriend photographer person take a look too and give me some comments (apparently I dont meter right, and its true, I always seem to blow highlights)
-Do some monkey work in photoshop, the ususal tweeking of levels, contrast, saturation where needed. Resize to a long side of 800xwhatever and stick it online
-Print a set of 6 inchers of the images that I find I can use
-Stick them on my big white board and rearrange them and add and remove over a period of usually a week
-Have the gf come and screw up all the order and whatnot of the images then look at it again from a different angle
-Make a selection and order for the images
-If higher resolution photos are needed I go have them scanned at max resolution back at the processors which spits out a 39.8 meg BMP for 6 yuan each (85 cents), take it home, make the necessary adjustments, then take it to another place to be printed (the processors only print to 15x10 and I usually need 30x24 or 50x50)
-Stick them images in whatever gallery exhibition they are needed for
-Hope I get paid for all of the above
