RML said:I used the Sling. Hated it as my fingers always got stuck in it. That may sound like a good thing (camera won't fall off) but it shucks when I need my hand and have to struggle for a minute to get my fingers out. Also, I never was able to hold the camera comfortably.
On my old film Eos 3000 I had a similar band strap. It worked well but it posed problems when putting the camera in a bag. It takes up space and always got in the way when I tried to get the camera out. One plus was that I could just pull the camera out of the bag from that strap. 🙂
I'm now using Gordy's straps. I've never had it so good. They're sturdy, feel comfortable, the o-ring makes sure the strap is snug, and adding a carabiner lets you hook the camera to your belt when you need to tinkle. A quick flick of the wrist and the camera is back safely in your hand. 🙂
