I've searched here for a specific thread on how much of the M8 viewfinder is visible to eyeglass wearers but couldn't find anything. Where I live, an M8 is likely about a 2.5 hour drive away so if I buy one I'm pretty much going to have to buy one sight unseen. On my 0.72 M7 and M6, with glasses on I can see the 50 frameline easily and I can just barely make out the 35. What has been the experience with eyeglasses and the 24mm and 28mm framelines on the M8?
Thanks

You will have the same problem with the M8 and the 24mm framelines as one would with the M6 and the 28mm framelines, using eyeglasses.

There is the Megaperls minifier. It does decrease accuracy, but will enable you to see all framelines.

YMMV, but I can easily see the 28mm frames on the M8, but the 24mm frames are right @ the edge, so like kbg32/Keith, I find them to be more like the 28mm frames on a 0.72 M6/M7, not the 35mm frames.

The ability to use the M8/24mm ASPH lens combination is a function of you shooting style. If you generally have time when framing an image to move you eye with respect to the viewfinder around and explore the left and right frame lines, you will rapidly work out a personal technique that works. If you want to use the 24mm lens for HCB "decisive moment" shots you are going to be disappointed.

Just to complicate things, it's also a factor of how thick are your lenses, how pliable are your frames, and how deep set are your eyes. I can see the 24 frames if I really press hard.
