I'd ask - what does he think was the best Leica ever made, why and will they consider to re-release it? Same goes for a lens as well.

Now, in a more serious vein, I concur with asking him about a vision... just if there is one. He cannot reveal if there's any M in the works, but I'd be interested in finding out what's their interest in offering some budget choices like the Summarit family of glass.
Oh, what would I ask him too? A pair of MPs, one in black and the other in silver... along with a nice matching set of Summiluxes for each body! 🙂

As with Don I would ask about quality control too. But beyond that, why not leica R mounts lenses in other mounts. If there was a ef mount 50 1.4 leica lens I would buy it tomorrow.

Will we see a true digital R-series in the future, and has he ever considered a retro screw-mount Barnack body with TTL metering (if it were built to MP standards with proper IIIF or IIIG styling I'd be first in line)?
