I am curious about these two films. Used to shoot Verichrome Pan and I gather Plus-X seems like the obvious replacement. I am however intrigued by Pan F 50 (and to some extent FP4; I have shot HP5 in the past but not the others), and was wondering if I could get some feedback and maybe a few sample shots of both.

I love Pan F - quality film. The following were done with an Olympus OM2n, 501.2 and a 28 3.5/ developed in d76

Beautiful shots! Do you expose it at ISO 50, and what dev time/temp/dilution did you use for the D76?

I can't tell you exactly cmedin, because I've misplaced my developing notebook, however I can tell you that it was exposed @ 50, devd in stock d76 solution at the recommended time for the temperature the d76 was at - think it was 20 degrees C. Came out very well. Those photos were from the first roll of PAN F I've ever tried.

Here are a couple of PlusX shots using 64 E.I. or E.V. or whatever they call it now:

Sorry, I have never used PanF.
EDIT: The Church is old PlusX.

Plus-X is perhaps my favorite film next to Acros. Some examples here:

Pan-F is nice too, though a bit slow. I use it in very bright conditions and find it to be very nice:

Click on the thumbs to see larger, and then on the All Sizes to see the full 600 pixel wide image.
The developer used, times, temps and dilutions are in most of the image's titles.
