I haven't kept up with Rollei prices recently--what does something like this usually go for?

Vb Type 1's range from $ 225 to $ 325...the prism has a bit more value than the WL finder does. Its a very good camera. If there was a better description of the condition I would bite myself..

"....Overall performance is unfamiliar to me. "
From a guy who calls himself "camerafinder"? He cannot tell if the shutter speeds are off? Or if the film transport is working? Or describe the condition inside the camera?
Big red flag if you ask me. I've found out the hard way when you see phrases like that on eBay it usually means something is seriously wrong (rusted inside, fires but speeds way off, film advance screwed up) but they just pretend they are really ignorant and have no idea. Check out the negative feedback someone left just a few days ago and compare to his description then.
Bought a Konica Auto-S from eBay once and the guy said "all looks fine but I'm not a camera expert..." and when it came the RF parts were completely rattled around inside and this was easily heard if you just picked up the camera. Like he could not have known this? Of course he did...
Don't get me wrong, I've had mostly great experiences from eBay but there are certain phrases that sort of let the buyer off the hook but sound really fishy. To me this is one of those times.

I agree -- which no doubt is why no one has pounced on this yet. Using the eyelevel finder with the Rolleicord shutter release would be a bit of a trick, I think.
