Che Guevara is everywhere

When I was working in the Republica de Panama' in 1969 (cerca). A Major in the Bolivian Army was my patient. He was on the 'team' that went after 'Che' and killed him. In fact, he was the leader of the team. After that he was rusticated to Panama' but the 4th estate pressure was too much so they sent him back to Bolivia where he he ended up on the Paraguayan-Bolivian border. Too bad, I liked the Major.

I think I would have liked to have met the Major.. I'm sure he would have an interesting view of the thug known as Che

I thought we established at some point that Che was a Nikon RF guy? Maybe both?
He was a FSU guy. He traded his Nikon rf for a "politically correct" Soviet kamera-aparat.

What's special about the photo? 2 guys smiling. Your family?
Nope, just a pair of guys at the train station.

B&W conversion (the critique part). First time I've tried darker complexion subjects.

Find Che.

i believe Che is on the t-shirt
Yep, on the breast pocket.

Did i get their complexion right? I tried to bring out the details in their faces without brightening the scene too much. Again, all in Bibble Pro, no PS used.

Wow, Ned, you sounded very different when you're thanking people for praising your pictures.

Not really. I understand I may "sound" different but believe me I was neutral.
Just trying to stir the conversation, create, push.
The image is too small, technically ok, good tones. I fail to se the point, though, unless it's family members.

Please note I do not have thin skin, I do not ask for comments on my pictures and I am not out for praise. I know the value of my work.

Well it was the best I could do in the situation. Can't cross the tracks without getting electrocuted, y'know. And I don't have my 75mm yet. I do not get to shoot photos of folks with dark complexions very often and I was wondering if I did it right or not. The photo is unremarkable in composition and the only interesting point is the tiny image of Che which makes it a game sort of. Did you click on the link below the photo which takes you to the fullsize image?

I too am not out for praise, just insight on how to be a better photographer.
