There are a few Nikkor lenses made in Leica thread mount, which is easily adaptable to M mount as well. But the majority of Nikon lenses in S mount are far less easy to use, requiring rare adapters to be mounted.
Most of the classic RF Nikkors came in LTM (Leica Thread Mount) as well. For a list see http://www.flickr.com/groups/m-mount/discuss/72157600006110201
for instance. Some are almost unaffordable used today, since very rare, including the
35/1.8 that I wish I would get one day ...
50/2, 50/1.4, 85/2, 135/3.5 are available quite frequently and very
affordable, IMO (see my avatar).
Unfortunately the newly re-built Nikkors that came with the 200* sets (35/1.8 and 50/1.4)
are only available in S mount.
I think that it may be possible to get an adapter (although if my memory is correct these are rare and expensive) which allows a Contax/Nkon mount lens to be used on a Leica Thred Mount camera. Yes here is a link. (I have never seen one of these in the wild, however.)
I know they made canon FD/FL adapters to Leica thread mount - I'm sure one for Nikon F mount was made which would allow SLR lenses to be mounted. You probably won't have rangefinder coupling - but for wide's you can scale focus without any problem.
