Hi—
I have a Voightlander Bessar-R that I purchased new a little over a year ago. I’ve been very happy w/ it, but the other day I noticed that the red light meter inside the camera (that displays when aperture and shutter speed line up) doesn’t work. I tried replacing the batteries w/ new ones and that has not fixed the problem. I’m not a very mechanical person, and I was wondering if there’s something else I can try before taking my camera to a repair shop that doesn’t require me dismantling the camera. Perhaps there’s something simple that I’m not thinking of?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
jon

Are you certain you put the batteries in the right way? And are they fresh?
Good luck.
