Canada REMINDER: December 2 - Toronto GTA RFF MEET

just saw this... I'm not sure if I'm helping someone move or not... If I can I'll attend. I don't have anything tasty in 35mm that isn't already on this list. I don't own a 40mm because I have a fixed lens RF.. w a 40mm ..

I'm not eligible at all am I. Who set these criteria to exclude Nancy and me? Was this a deliberate plot?

Hey Victor, maybe I'll bring a TLR and ignore this "small film brigade's" gathering.. what say?

Bring it on! I'll bring my non-Leica TLR. Why didn't Leica make TLR?

Dave what about the Rex again or like Jack suggested the 'Heffalump'? Last time a group split and shot around City Hall after the 'lunch event'.. I'm just thinking that the Rhino is a little off the centre ice position but hey I'll meet up anywhere if I'm free.

Well..

I threw out the various choices earlier :) but we did settle on the Rhino - it might be a bit west of where we normally meet but that neighbourhood that the Rhino is in is pretty interesting and eclectic in its own right :D (plus it won't be as "dark" as the Rex would be - that is, the Rhino has more window light) :D

Dave

It's Friday night and once again I'm going to sacrifice a small part of my remaining time on earth to go to the Rhino and eat something greasy, then cut the grease with beer, then reserve the two tables at the front. If too many show up, we can expand.

How was it Victor? Had I not made a commitment earlier to be at a family event, I'd have joined you.
I'll be interested to see your Rollei, though I should really stay away from it. The Mamiya is all I really need, all I really need... But I was really tempted by the Rollei 2.8F Tony had for $600 not long ago. Wondered if something was wrong with it; isn't that kind of cheap?

Even if it's just a few of us tomorrow it should make for a nice gentle Sunday afternoon :)

Dave

Looks like I'm in 'ski' country tomorrow. If not I'm in!
BTW can you believe this weather!! WT_! where's November, it's like we skipped to January.

I have too much on the to do pile, looks like I am definately out on this one unfortunately.... The snow is a good sign though, I can't wait for ski season!

I'd love to be there, but travelling last week and a bit of a tweak on my right foot and leg has me sticking around Kodak-town.

See youse guys next time!

Earl, the 'big smoke' has had a 10 cm / 4" dump. Plows , salt trucks, etc are loose in the streets! Stay put. Have a nice hot coffee and look out on the world. Think of all the chaos you are not sitting in waiting to move ahead in stop and go traffic on the highway.

Next time.

Damn, when you have a 4X4 (vehicle, not camera) and Haakappelitta snow tires ... I would have been stylin'. Ooops ... haven't had the snowies mounted yet! Ah then. It's a bit miserable here too. Yes, Jan, I made a nice cappuccino this morning with Brikka espresso as the base. I may even make another.

Earl, waiting for Spring on Oatka Creek with Jan.

Note: Damn fine game last night. Go Leafs Go!
