Adjusting close focus on Retina IIa rangefinder

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice on how to adjust the rangefinder on a Retina IIa to achieve close focus.

I've followed the steps on Chris Sherlock's website to adjust the infinity focus (really quite fun to do), but I've discovered that the rangefinder is still out at close distances.

Any tips or advice will be very much appreciated!
