Hello!
I was wondering if I could get some advice on this.
I got at an auction a pretty beat up Ikonta 532/16, problem is the blocking lever in the photo — which, as far as I understand, should pop out when the tensioning ring is cocked — just doesn’t, so the shutter gets released immediately, (fortunately the speeds sound correct).

I’ve tried to study the mechanism for a few hours, trying to figure it out, but I still can’t make sense of what’s going wrong. Second picture is the disassembled mechanism beneath that lever.

Any hints would be hugely appreciated! I’ve re-watched Chris Sherlock’s videos many times already, but he doesn’t really cover this specific issue.
Thanks in advance.

No pain no gain… as GMOG said may relate to the small spring

Levers acting on levers and other complicated assemblies, most of them spring loaded in different ways, makes a real puzzle. Without reference to where all the parts go one has to look and think carefully, and you might find that the problem isn't where you think it is.

I have a copy of a Compur service manual from the late 1960s but I could not find this particular shutter in it.
