Fair price for a 35 CC

This is my first post so be kind 🙂


I have a 35CC in pretty good shape (well better than most in that it actually works!) with normal use marks and clean lens, shutter works, meter works etc.

I'm in two minds over whether to sell it but I really don't use it much. Any ideas what would be a fair asking price?

100-200 depending on condition. These are pretty rare as few were made, great lens but only 250 as a top shutter speed is a downer, I had one I sold for cheap, should have kept it 😉

To price stuff I look at recent sales on EvilBay. You need an ID (which is free) to get information on completed items, but it's a good place to start.

A couple years back they were going for ridiculous amounts- over $200 due to the rarity, the black color, and the perceived "demand". They're really worth about $75 but you would never get one for that amount. You should get $100- $200 depending if you're selling to a friend/acquaintance or not.
