Just body + lense attacked

Hi everyone. I use to go out to take pictures just with a lense attached, not more. Maybe one more but not usually.

So i want a small bag to carry my Leica M8 with just one lense. What would you recommend me?

do you mean "attached"? 🙂

as far as bags go, I use the domke F-803 satchel in black, and I'm very happy with it - it's the perfect size from the outside (ie to carry), on the inside I do wish it was about 20% bigger, but I would still buy it again.

Allthough I know that most people here recommend Domke in every thread I do recommend Billingham - look for the L2 Alice or consider the Leica by Billingham bag. Both are very well build, hold a M8 with one lens and have room for more - another lens, battery charger, flash, whatever you like.

The Billingham comes in different colours, is very well padded and is almost watertight - mine went through terrible rain, got soaked on the outside without getting wet inside.

Another recommendation - if you like the style - are artist&artisan bags. Never touched one myself ´cause they´re not available here in Europa, but they look very promising.

A small canvas "messenger bag" not made for photographers can easily be used to carry a camera body and a couple of lenses if each separate item has a case or is wrapped in a small towel or similar.

I use a padded, insulated, lunch bag about the size of a six-pack. It does not look like a camera bag. A few outside pockets for film and I'm off.
