I have read, in the M7 istructions manual, that the TTL flash mode is ensured using the SCA 3502 or 3501.
Now, i own the Metz 45 CL 4 and 32 CT7, that work with the SCA 300 system. It's possible to use these flash units, whit the Leica M7, in the normal TTL flash mode with the older SCA 351?
Ciao.

I think SCA 351 is for the R series.

After a little search, i solved the question.
The SCA 351 is dedicated to Leica R4/R4S/R5/R-E/R6/R6-2/R7 only.
The SCA 3502 (now in M5 version) is dedicated to Leica R8 and R9 and Leica M6 TTL and M7, Leica CM and M8 and various others digital Leica cameras.
I own two Metz flashes, a 32 CT-8 (the CT-7 with G15 grip) and a 45 CL-4. Both work in TTL Flash mode on the Leica M7, with SCA 3502 M5 and SCA 3000 C M-1 cable.
Ciao.
