I've just got my grubby little hands on this beast :D Hassy 553elx, Zeiss 150mm F4 Sonnar, and 6x6 back.

I've fed it its first film, can't wait to see the results.

Cheers

Very jealous, I am.
Can't wait to see the results.
I'm very glad this isn't a "Look what I got for £20" thread or I'd probably scream!

hehe, I wish it was 20 quid :D

I bought components individually and I was very patient, so the price was pretty cheap.

The used prices for hasselblad stuff are pretty good nowdays. I always keep a few on my watch list, sometimes a piece of kit will go unnoticed and sell cheap.

Am also looking for something like this and wanted to gather individual components....however read that individual components may give rise to lightleaks....

That would happen only if you get a defective part. The Hasselblad components are fully interchangeable. Perhaps you are thinking of a film back with an unmatched film back insert. Even then, a light leak is unusual.
