Well-known
Sadly not that pristine rarity we all hanker for, but stuff possibly useful to someone. In this case, the same shop I bought the Super Ikonta bits from has two leather cases for I'm assuming 120 folders. The first is stamped Voightlander on the back or front, and is in pretty good nick. It is of the ever-ready type and has a tripod bush at one end. It is in dark brown leather, has a small hole for the red film viewing window, and the strap is in good condition. No other identifying features however. I'm guessing it's for a 6x9 folder as it's fairly large. The second, possibly more interesting one is of the pouch type, is marked Zeiss Ikon and 1769/2. It's in slightly worse condition, but the colour of the leather is sublime. There is a repair to one end of the strap, and the other end is frayed. It is still serviceable though and looks it's age in an appropriate way if you get my drift. It's a bit smaller than the other one, so I'm assuming 6x6, but I could be wrong. I haven't bought either of these yet, but going by previous prices, they won't be expensive. As before, if they can go to a good home for cost, plus a small donation, I'd be more than happy.
Any takers??? 🙂
