Voigtlander R*A reduce price

Hi! For some reasons the Singapore voigtlander seller reduces the price of all the R*A to S$780 but the R4M remains at S$950. Both M and A models are selling at the same price previously.

Any one of u heard of any news from Cosina? Some new A models coming or the M models are better selling?

just took a look here, prices are still the same, maybe a specific dealer trying to flush their inventory.
 
A models have usually been a bit cheaper than M models. If they had M's and A's as the same price before, maybe they were just charging too much for the A's.

R4A S$780 (approx US$575) vs R4M S$950 (approx US$700) that's quite interesting for me. Have been thinking about a chrome R4 for my chrome ZM lenses .............
 
What is the exchange rate for s$ and usa$? Bessa/Voightlander distribution here limited to some of the "exclusive" joints and camera swaps. baba
 
1 US$ is about 1.36 to 1.4 S$. Heard from the Singapore Voigtlander seller that some new lenses are coming but no details.

Yes I knew about that. Have been dreaming on a chrome R4 but if the R4 black is cheap enough then why not .......
 
Ha ha, Chiif called me and apparently he made a mistake. The price of the R2A and R3A was reduced but not the R4A, which is the same price as the R4M, and there goes my R4 dream ........... :)
 
Chiif is a great seller. I bought a 25/4 LTM from him and he facilitated the transaction well considering I had someone meet him in singapore to deliver the stuff.

I was just in Manila the whole time. He responds quickly and he is easy to deal with
