S2 film pressure plate required

I've managed to drop my S2, as a result it has a dent in the back and somehow a hairline crack in the pressure plate.

This crack scratches the film, luckily right on the edge of the frame, but I'd still like to get it replaced.

Does anyone have any idea where would be a god place to look for a replacement?

Thanks, I hadn't thought of the Kiev. I've already had a look at the plate on my F, and it's considerably longer.

You might try covering the cracked plate with a piece of black adhesive vinyl. It is thin enough not to interfere with the film transport, and might be enough to cover the scratch. You can get a piece from a local sign manufacterer, or perhaps even at an office supply store.
Let me know if you can't find any, and I'll mail you a piece.

I've already had a look at the plate on my F, and it's considerably longer.

The Nikon F pressure plate is definitely the way to go - not too sure why after checking your Nikon F back you didn't find it to be a good fit - my own Nikon S2 and Nikon F film pressure plates are just 100% identical and thus, perfectly interchangeable.

Finding a spare Nikon F back on the 'bay is very easy.
Swapping the film pressure plates will be a 5 minutes job (removing and re-fitting the circlips on the left and slipping the pressure plate forks under the rivets heads on the right).

is your S2 a chrome or black dial? chrome dial plate is same as the S, black dial is like the F or Sp,

they stopped numbering the backs in the 614xxxx block, i have a 6143xxx that has the serial number on the back but a 6149xxx that does not, also a 61617xx that still has the smaller pressure plate.

Thanks for the replies everyone, my S2 is a silver dial and it has the small pressure plate, about two centimeters shorter than on my F.

It is in the 615 block and the back isn't numbered.

Looks like I'm going to have to find a parts S2 body...

PS maybe crack was the wrong choice of word, there's a split in the metal at the edge for about 3 or 4 millimeters, as if it had been cracked.
