My Mamiya 7 II just arrived yesterday from Hong Kong. It's a great rangefinder camera and currently my favorite. Here is my test shot taken yesterday late in the afternoon around 4:30PM. The scanner I used is Epson Perfection V500 Photo. Also, the photo was saved in lower resolution for quick web loading.

the pano adapter is kinda klunky but it works well, just don't forget to turn the pressure plate to 35mm 😉

The Mamiya, along with LF, has made me neglect my 35mm rangefinders... I think I'll post them all for sale here shortly. It'll be a field day for anyone who's been searching for a Yashica 35 CC. 🙂

Thanks for the pictures. I used to live in downtown Manila, Makati area, to be precise. Loved the life, not the traffic. Send us more!
 
I've just developed my very first roll of 120 using the Mamiya 7 (borrowed it from a work friend). My first impression... WOW... the negs are large and would make great contact prints.

Still hanging in the bathroom to dry and I'll scan them tomorrow on my V700.

Although I have no doubt that image quality will be unsurpassed, I am still not sure whether it's for me. All that effort, time, chemicals for just 10 pictures from a 120 roll. For the same amount, I get 72-75 photos from developing 2 rolls of 135 film simultaneously. I know... numbers aren't everything, but if I don't need the large negs for large printing, then maybe it's not for me.

Am I missing something? Maybe my scans will prove me wrong.
