I agree Raid! Of course there is only one reason I would ever take that shot (the sun is actually in the frame) - to test the wide open flare characteristics.
Before everyone floods the market with their Hexs, I better post another more mellow boke shot...

the 35mm Summilux ASPH is flare resistant as well.

That's been my experience, too, but there are others who I respect who have had different experiences (e.g., Tom A, IIRC), so maybe there some kind of sample variation @ work.

I appreciate the data point on the 35mm ASPH, but I'm rather happy with my ZM 35 right now. If I were to pick up another 35, I'd probably go with the Nokton 1.2...
